McCain, Just Say No To Mitt Romney

According to an article by Robert Novak that was posted on Humanevents.com, McCain will be picking a VP this week.

"Sources close to Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign are suggesting he will reveal the name of his vice presidential selection this week while Sen. Barack Obama is getting the headlines on his foreign trip. The name of McCain's running mate has not been disclosed, but Mitt Romney has led the speculation recently".

That's terrific that McCain is picking a VP, HOORAY! I think that most Republicans can agree that McCain needs a real conservative to balance out the ticket. But the mere mention of the name Mitt Romney as a possible VP pick, causes me serious gastric distress. Apparently Mitt Romney has the other 57 states fooled into thinking that he is a true conservative but those of us who suffered through his term as Governor know the real story. Let me share some facts with you about Willard Romney, yes that is his real name, just like the rat movie.


1. Human Events reported that "Romney was probably the most pro-abortion and pro-gay rights Republican official in the nation for the last decade.

2. Willard won a ranking as one of the Top 10 RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) by Human Events 12/27/05 - (Mitt Romney is ranked #8)

3. While Governor of Massachusetts, Romney imposed $283 million in business “loophole closures” and $501.5 million in increased fees on marriage licenses, gun registrations, gasoline deliveries, real-estate transfers and more. Under Romney, the Tax Foundation calculated, Massachusetts fell from America’s 29th-most-business-friendly state to No. 36.

5. When he was Governor, Romney teamed up with Ted Kennedy and John Kerry to enact The Massachusetts State MANDATED health care plan (Commonwealth Care). This Romney brainchild is a government subsidized health care plan that requires citizens to register with the state, slaps working people with tax penalties, and provides $50 abortions on demand. AS of right now this huge branch of government that Romney created is millions of dollars in the RED.

I could go on and with a list of hundreds of Romney misdeeds & blunders (do a google search, investigate for yourself) but you get the point right? This is only a fraction of the kitchen sink that the Democrats will be able to throw at McCain if he chooses Mitt Romney. Willard "Mitt" Romney was a nightmare for Massachusetts and he will be the nail in coffin for the Republican party if he is chosen as VP. Write John McCain and beg him NOT to choose Mitt as VP because Romney comes in as a close second to Obama as one of the most disingenuous politicians to walk the planet.
